Split Fiction introduces players to Mio and Zoe, two authors who become ensnared within a machine designed to steal their creative ideas, trapping them inside their own sci-fi and fantasy narratives. To escape, they must collaborate, navigating a series of challenges that blend elements from both genres.
The game emphasizes cooperative gameplay, requiring two players to work together either locally or online. Each level presents unique mechanics and abilities, ensuring a dynamic and varied experience. Notably, Split Fiction supports a “Friend’s Pass,” allowing a friend to join the adventure for free, even if they don’t own the game.
