Legend of Grimrock is an old-school soul dungeon role-playing game but modern technology. Four prisoners have been sentenced to certain death by being exiled to the lonely Mount Grimrock for evil crimes they may or may not have committed. Although its captors do not know, the mountain is full of ancient tunnels, dungeons and tombs built by ancient civilizations long since disappeared. If they want to see the light of day again and claim their freedom, this group of prisoners must work together and descend through the mountain, one level after another.

The game relives the challenge of role-playing classics with a highly tactical real-time combat and a movement based on well-hidden grids, levers and secrets, deadly traps and horrible monsters. Legend of Grimrock prioritizes puzzles and exploration. The ingenuity and perception of the player are more important tools than the sharpest swords. And if you are a veteran expert in touring dungeons and want an additional challenge, prepare a good amount of graph paper and try the Classic Mode that deactivates the luxury of the automapa! Are you ready to venture out and unravel the mysteries of Mount Grimrock?
